COASTAL GRANDMOTHER

The coastal grandmother trend is back for another summer and I am just as obsessed with the trend as I was last summer. It’s chic and relaxed that is perfect for any occasion, and makes you feel like you’re living in a Nancy Myers movie. Whether you’re spending a day at the beach or drinking a spritz in the city, the coastal grandmother trend will have you looking and feeling your best.

Here are three of my favorite coastal grandmother outfits created by only a few staple pieces in my wardrobe. I created three completely different looks with only four closet staples.

The first, an all neutral look with my white Zara jeans paired with my cream striped Zara sweater, brown Anthropologie sandals and sunglasses from Amazon.

Part of the coastal grandmother trend is wearing sweaters over your shoulders and that’s exactly what I did here. I wore a brown staple tank top from Ann Taylor with my white Zara jeans and placed the Zara striped sweater over my shoulders for that sophisticated look.

For the last look, I replaced the Zara striped sweater with a Forever21 light blue striped button up - a coastal grandmother staple.
