Note: DNFs and re-reads not included on my shelf.

September started off strong, but things got rough midway through the month. I was reading miss after miss after one hit, followed by miss after miss again. I kept pushing myself to read when I probably wasn’t in the right mood, which took the fun out of it.

I DNF’d two books in one day, and the next week, four more. And let’s not get started on the books I finished that ended up disappointing me. I thought it was too much.

That’s when I diagnosed myself to be in a reading slump 😂 So I stopped picking up new reads, and did some re-reads of my favorite comfort books (ACOTAR series)

I’m confident next month will be better, especially with all the anticipated reads I have lined up.

Good riddance, September 2024! 👋🏼
