I’M DONE WITH LASH EXTENSIONS 💔

Here are my thoughts so far for lash extensions as a student……

I wanted lashes as a 18th bday gift for myself and i cant bring myself to spend more than $50 on lashes hence the reason for my choice.

Stumbled upon a beginner lash tech (who claims to be a certified lash tech as well) doing UV lashed for $35 NETT 🫨🫨??!!! immediately sold.

Spontaneously booked a slot during class. Opted for classic set. Went after school. Was super cozy and comfortable fell right asleep when i closed my eyes. (also maybe cause i was so so tired) 1st - 3rd pictures were how long they lasted. Lash tech told me if there was any problem i could text her and get back to her. Hence i did as a significant amount of lashes fell out in two days ? idh the final pic but only about 20% was left after 6 days.

4th & 5th picture was the second try but this time with normal lash glue.(still the same lash style) This time was different. ( To be fair i never voiced out i was in pain throughout however my body’s reaction was super obvious i was in pain 😖😖😖😖)

She started off with a removal all is normal.(i think) Slight sting? felt kind warm. thought ntg much about it. She started pulling off the extensions that wasn’t able to come off with the removal i believe? as i felt some tugging on my lashes but again didn’t think much about it.

She then started applying the lashes on my right eye and i think my eyes are sensitive? as I felt a stronger sensation of stinging? or perhaps burning up to this point, after the removal. I was able to take a short nap through it though. (quite literally sleeping through the pain 🥲) At this point i was awoken to my eye constantly watering. I couldn’t help it. It hurt pretty bad. (considering i believe i have a high pain tolerance)

Moving on to the left eye, ( i have no idea how i laid through it :/ ) it was straight up DRY AND TEARY i kept tearing atp im like unintentionally crying ok. i was starting to sweat.( i wish i was kidding ) i just wanted this whole session to end. I could feel the glue on my lash line ? but i wasn’t so sure either cause atp my lash-line was on fire. She started pulling off lash extensions again i believe? that didn’t go on right idk bro i felt like i was being tortured. Paid another $10 and left.

💸💸💸total cost of this experience = $45

I went home AND TO MY HORROR, i see clusters of lashes stuck to multiple lashes ? especially the inner corner of my eyes. FEELS LIKE A PINCH EVERYTIME I TOUCH THE EXTENSION 😣literally agonising, i really feel like ripping my lashes extensions off my eyelashes atp. i don’t have the time to find another lash tech to get my lashes fixed nor do i have the disposable income to keep finding lash techs to do my lashes properly.

I know people will be thinking, if you can’t afford it then don’t do it. I’m just a girl and i would like to pamper myself once in a while. I’m only just a student and want to feel dolled up but maybe lashes just aren’t meant for me.

Maybe after reading my post people can avoid the same mistake as I did and take extra precautions when booking with a beginner lash tech or maybe just spend abit more on a more reputable or experienced lash tech.

Also can someone help me, based on my understanding isn’t classic lashes 1 strand of extensions to 1 natural lashes or has times changed and lashes evolved cus why does one thick strand of lash have so many thinner strands of lash 🤨
