UNDERRATED hotteok to try in KOREA 🥞🍯🍪

if you’re in korea, hotteok is DEFINITELY one of the best foods you should try! personally it’s my FAV snacks & you should definitely try this out if you’re visiting MANGWON MARKET! 🥹 (there’s sm good food there too but this hotteok shop was rly WORTHY of a visit):

CONSTANT LONG QUEUES 🤯 ———

the crowd KEEPS coming!!! it’s super popular with LOCALS as there were so many koreans of different age groups 🤍 even though there’s long queue & only 2 guys making the hotteoks, the queue moves SUPER fast!! the waiting time is acceptable & you get to eat PIPING HOT hotteoks! 😜

LOTS OF FLAVOURS 💗 ———

there were SO MANY flavours available to choose from that I didn’t see being sold at other hotteok stalls/roadside hotteoks 🙈 personally I loved the Oreo & injeolmi ones & felt that they went so well together with the original hotteok! ✨ there’s definitely something you’ll like & the TOPPINGS ARE SO GENEROUS! just look at how he fills the hotteok up with it!

AFFORDABLE 🥴 ———

the hotteok was really affordable too! for a shop specialized in hotteoks, I thought it’ll be expensive but it was just as affordable as those from the roadside stalls~ the most expensive will be 1,500 won only 🤯 you could buy a lot to share different flavours with your friends! additionally they also sell drinks that were ice blended for only 1-2,000 won ish! 😭 SO AFFORDABLE!! & GOOOOOD! 🤤

if you’re planning to visit mangwon market (망원 시장) definitely DO NOT miss this outttt! 🤧 writing this post makes me miss hotteoks SO MUCH..
