which apple watch is best?

TLDR: I recommend the Series 9 :)

In September two new Apple Watches were released: the series 9 and the ultra 2. But which one should you buy? And if you already have an Apple Watch, should you even upgrade? Here’s a few things to consider:

- the look: both the series 9 and ultra take on the same form factor as their previous versions. To the naked eye, these is no signal that this is a new Apple Watch.

- screen size: the series 9 comes in two sizes (41mm and 45mm) and the ultra comes in one size (49mm). With the series 9, you can get a smaller form factor which is good for those with more petit wrists. But for the ultra, you’ll have to sport a huge watch face.

- colors: the series 9 comes in many different colors (red, pink, starlight, great) and two finishes (aluminum and stainless steel. The ultra is only available in the natural titanium shown in the photo.

- you personal activity level: if you do typical gym workouts or even regular pool swimming, the series 9 is great! But if you participate in more rugged activities such as intense hiking, surfing, or diving, the ultra might be the better option for you.

If you still not sure, my recommendation is to get the series 9. Most people don’t live lives that require a smart watch as intense as the Apple Watch Ultra.
