Free Things To Do In Santiago, Chile

When visiting Santiago, Chile, you'll have tons to do! The city is full of nightlife and activities during the day. Two of my favorite day activities include beautiful views and history.

One of the coolest viewpoints overlooking the city is San Cristobal Hill. It's an inclined walk up, and when you get to the top, there are many viewing points, a 360 view of all of Santiago.

There is no entrance fee. You'd think there would be for as great as the experience is! But alas, it's open to the public.

Next is visiting the city center called Plaza de Armas. This area has vendors now and then, we saw a few performers and plenty of restaurant options. It's an excellent place for walking around (you'll get a lot of steps in!) and people-watching.
