Let’s watch the sunrise🌅

Come watch the sunrise with me!! Definitely earlier than I’m used to waking up, but it was so so worth it!!😍🌅

As pretty and fun as this was, the real reason behind why I was up so early wasn’t so fun. The night before, I’d realized I’d left my student ID in the dining hall, and I wouldn’t have a chance to get my ID until it opened for breakfast the next day. I was absolutely freaking out, and I was beginning to fall into the spiral of anxiety I feel when something isn’t right and out of control.

I’ve been working so hard lately to manage my anxiety, so I decided to try to change my mindset by making my early morning something to look forward to, and the sunrise happened to be 15 minutes after the dining hall opened, so it was perfect timing :)
