Little Italy weekend in San Diego ideas

If you are spending a quiet weekend in Little Italy San Diego, there are plenty of things to do within and around the typical hustle and bustle of the neighborhood.

Waterfront Park is a lovely sunset spot that is open all day to the public. There is a large grassy area, as well as some fountains (kids will play in the fountains) and also a children’s playground with swings. This is a great place to hang out and relax, go for a walk, or have a picnic!

If you want to have a picnic, the Little Italy Market & Spirits is a small grocery store that imports many items from Italy itself. The quality of the food is excellent.

There are also plenty of restaurants and bars along India St, the Main Street of the neighborhood, as well as a few on Kettner Blvd and Columbia St.
