Le Club 55 Saint-Tropez Daytime Review

While I had previously been to parts of the French Riviera, Saint-Tropez had always been on my list of places I wanted to see in person. I got the chance to go for a day this year and made the most of the very short time I had! This included lunch and relaxing at Le Club 55.

Le Club 55 is a popular beach club in Saint Tropez that also has a restaurant. It is open from 10am-7pm daily. You can choose to relax on a beach chair (ranges €70+), or enjoy the food at the restaurant. The beach area has a separate bar if you want drinks at both places.

A friend and I started with lunch and the food was incredible. Truly one of the best meals I had in France. I had the Salad de Pampelonne (€29) which came with thick cut tomatoes, goat cheese, mint, and a yellow sauce that tasted a little tangy, yet savory. I never would’ve put any of that together on my own, but it was truly delicious. My friend had a Salads Nicoise (€29) (named after Nice, France) which was so fresh and delicious. We shared a bottle of white wine for €54 total.

What felt odd to me is that they didn’t have any music playing but maybe that is the time of day.

After, we realized we hardly had any time left so we didn’t get beach chairs. I know I’ll return!
