hypothetical scenarios: is this cheating?!

when I was in my early 20’s, I was very rigid about boundaries / l what we thought was acceptable for a monogamous relationship but I have loosened up a lot in time and enjoy experiencing giving & receiving love more freely.

I honestly used to be way more insecure and would get jealous and upset over hypothetical situations.

I am currently at a stage where if I see how charismatic, radiant and genuine someone is - then I want them to spread their love around with friends, coworkers, customers, strangers, etc. I don’t want to dull anyone’s shine, nor do I want him to dull mine… if that makes sense?!

i am pretty naturally ‘flirty’ but I’m not usually intending for things with others to go beyond this ‘playfulness’ but it’s fun to be touchy, joke around, laugh, hug and have deep convos with other people.

so for me, there’s a lot of (what most people would probably consider) grey area that I’m comfortable with after candidly talking these scenarios out.

maybe someday, I will want to be even more open and free spirited. maybe I will want to honor a union by keeping our energy more sacred. neither is right or wrong imo - it’s just whatever you and your partner prefer.
