Lanterns and light and paint

A little heart song piece I did last week “At night your song is with me”. I began by painting this @dwellingplace_nrv on a Sunday morning with just a dreamy swallow. A persistent crescent 🌙 moon and girl

would not leave my imagination however, and demanded to be included in the painting. Do you think it looks better with or without them? I’m thinking prints and cards may be in store for this one. Right now I’ll put a glaze of linseed oil on it and as it dries let it’s fantastic starryness fill my house. ✨
