FEAR over positive pregnancy test

The reality for a lot of women is F E A R seeing that double line appear.

Fear of the unknown

Fear of what’s to come

Fear of your heart being broken

Fear of not being able to handle it

A lot of women don’t talk about this aspect.

How scary the first weeks are, and it feels extremely hard when all we see on the internet is HAPPY smiling people with their positive tests. We feel in a sense broken, “what’s wrong with me that I’m not instantly excited?”

It’s borderline debilitating and I truly feels like walking on eggshells. Because we’ve seen this play out many ways and chances are there’s things in your life that are SCARY.

Putting yourself into a space where you are completely vulnerable, knowing at any moment the rug can be ripped out from under you but on the flip side this space has insane POWER.

You are basically putting yourself into the lions den and I for one thing that’s courageous. I can’t tell you or myself that everything will be perfect, but I know we’re capable to handle the road ahead.

You might not be walking the road we are but I have no doubt in your life you have something similar happening. Or perhaps something you haven’t allowed yourself to open the door fully because of the same fear I’m talking about.

Courage is shaking at the knees,
