BUCKET LIST: BURGESS FALLS in TN 🫶

This was hands down one of the coolest experiences we’ve done and it’s a total hidden gem.

Depending on the water level you can kayak right up to the falls at Burgess Falls in Sparta, TN.

We did a guided tour with Kayak Adventures of Tennessee and they were the BEST. They have all the supplies you need, life vests, kayaks, paddles and they take you on a 2 mile slow kayak to the falls where you get to spend 1.5 hours. During your trip they are constantly taking pictures and showing you the best spots to swim, jump and play in the falls. They know exactly where to place your feet so you don’t slip, I felt so safe with them out there.

We chose to do this for our 14th anniversary and it was truly such a fun adventure, it was breathtaking to get to just see the falls that close, but to actually PLAY in them was next level!

Burgess Falls is about 1.5 hours from Chattanooga and 1.5 hours from Nashville.

The kayak adventure is a full day adventure and they only take 13 people at a time. I highly suggest going on a week day because there is less people, we were the only tour group out there on a Tuesday and it was heaven. I personally wouldn’t go on a weekend because I don’t like people 😂
