books i’m intimidated to read 🫢

these are two books on my tbr that intimidate me!! while i do think i will enjoy them to some extent, the trigger warnings are scary lol

〰️Tender Is The Flesh by Agustina Bazterrica

A dystopian world where an animal virus led to all animals dying then leads to the legality of cannibalism. I think this will be really gross at times but the storyline is very intriguing!

〰️A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara

Follows a group of friends in NYC. I hear there is lots of

trauma and contains pretty much every trigger warning out there. But I hear really amazing things so I think it will be an extremely emotional and painful read, but I will probably rate it highly!
