My first read of July was the perfect summer read 💛This was my last Emily Henry book that I hadn’t read yet. It did not disappoint! As I have said before Emily Henry’s writing just gets me every time. Her writing is truly beautiful and her books have romance but also deep emotional topics about other things people go through in life.This book focuses on Alex and Poppy.

They are two polar opposites who become best friends. You follow them & their friendship as they go on vacations together. You see their relationship progress over time, through past and present. And you see that feelings that develop between them. You find out a conflict happens between them two years in the past and they haven’t spoken since.

I absolutely loved this book, but it’s my least favorite out of the books that Emily has written, but loved it nonetheless. I had a tiny issue with aspects of their relationship & the secret conflict that happened between them. But overall I did love them as a couple and it ended beautifully! I gave it 4.75⭐️
