Moab inspo ✨🏜️

Since the pandemic, my travel feeds are cluttered with posts from Moab, Utah. Most of us are familiar with the famous Delicate Arch (first picture) that graced Utah license plates, but what is about this town that has been drawing so many people in?

Near the southeast border of Utah, the high desert of Moab offers a vast landscape of deep red canyons and ancient rock formations. Home of two of the “Mighty 5”, Moab is a welcoming outdoor community for experienced outdoors people and novices alike.

While proper preparedness is essential to any outdoor activities, it’s even more critical when visiting the desert. However, if you’re curious about visiting the southwest and feel overwhelmed visiting larger national parks or handeling the lottery system, strongly consider Moab for your destination.

Once you’ve taken in some nature, head downtown for a bite to eat and patron the local outfitters just a few minutes from both parks.
