why i chopped 💇‍♀️ (a sign maybe u should too)

I CHOPPED MY HAIR & I FEEL LIKE A NEW WOMAN IN THE BEST WAY 💇‍♀️☺️✨⚡️🧘‍♀️🥹🤭

here’s why i did it:

1️⃣ HAIR HOLDS ENERGY. 🧘‍♀️

my long hair was holding memories, feelings, and experiences from the past year it’s been growing.

i’d look in the mirror and see more than just hair.

i’d see the day i curled it for a special meeting, the night i washed it to go out and the plans got canceled last minute, the breakage and damage from tight braids and hairspray.

it was time to let go of the past.

2️⃣ ITS A NEW ERA.

i was so ready to initiate a new era of ME. this new version of me is a freaking SUPERSTAR, and short hair fit that energy.

3️⃣ TRAINING MY BRAIN TO ACCEPT CHANGE.

change is GOOD, but sometimes it’s hard to really believe that.

a fresh haircut is a change to my appearance, and i’m giving myself the opportunity to be excited and open to change🤭✨
