Minimoon in Langkawi

Ever since the pandemic, we had to postpone our honeymoon. And once we get to travel again, we decided to take a short honeymoon trip to Langkawi Island! Hence it's a minimoon.

We chose to stay at Temple Tree Resort for 3 days and 2 nights, it is a beautiful boutique hotel with amazing heritage homes sourced from various states in Malaysia. Totally unique and unforgettable experience there!

Our room is the Estate House, which originally situated 25 minutes from Ipoh in Pasir Puteh, built in the 1940s, this building was a longhouse for Indian workers on a rubber estate. The style is very typical of Estate workers housing throughout Malaysia, with high ceilings, a living space, separate bathroom, verandah at the front and a private garden at the rear.

Then in the afternoon, we went to hangout at the restaurant facing the beautiful swimming pool view. The environment is just so tranquil with greenery and you can see flights departing since it is located quite near to the airport. Our food at the restaurant was delicious! And we got complimentary desserts.

I highly recommend you to stay at the Temple Tree Resort when you're in Langkawi. Had a wonderful experience there!
