my favourite snack in the CBD area

my friend introduced me to this place when we were in Tanjong Pagar and omg its my new love. I literally went two days in a row and brought my mum there.

Its called Ah Lock & Co and located at B2 of Guoco Tower. Its mixes nostalgic and modern tastes by putting Lotus Biscoff paste in MinJiangKueh. The sweetness and crunchiness paired perfectly with the thick mochi-like skin of the Min Jiang Kueh. If you like sweet things, this would be perfect for you. Honestly for $1.90, I would say this is really value-for money.

We also tried their Matcha Peanut flavour. While this one wasn’t bad, it mostly tasted similar to a normal minjiangkueh with just a slight matcha aftertaste. While it is good, it just isnt anything super mindblowing. My mum, who hates sweet things, loved this one though and its slightly cheaper at just $1.60.

Overall, definitely check this place out if youre looking for a quick bite in the CBD area.
