Trash to ✨Treasure✨

My grandfather lives in a city that offers trash pickup. You wouldn’t believe what people get rid of! He rides around on his golf cart every Monday evening to see what his neighbors have decided to part ways with. The only thing off limits: trash bags.

A few weeks ago, he found these purple and blue planters that needed some love. I started to attempt to make them look concrete again but wasn’t loving the look so I thought…why not glossy black?! I had a can of spray paint already at my house and gave it a shot. I dug up these hastas that were getting too much sun & I am in love with the look!

The best part? This fun little upgrade to my pool area cost me $0
