My college Experience

As written on the one picture l, I graduated from York Collehe of Pennsylvania in 2022. My major was Accounting, but then my junior year I changed it to Sport Management. I commuted from home and that wasn't easy. I played softball there as well. I enjoyed some of my classes. If it wasn't for softball, I probably wouldn't have gone to college if I'm being honest. I liked school and learning m, but I just didn't know what I wanted to do.

Being in a sport allowed me to meet new people and make friends or at least I thought I was making friends. Because I was the only commuter on the team, I felt left out because everyone on the team roomed together. No one really invited me out, but then again all they ever wanted to do was go to parties and drink and I didn't necessarily want to do that. Not all the time anyway. I didn't really make any friends in college, I tried, I talked to people in my classes. Heck, I was in this friend group from my freshman year, and then by junior year we all stopped talking to each other.

I'd say I had a pretty decent experience in college. I didn't have to worry about paying for food there or paying for a room so that was a plus. In my experience, I went through COVID, having to do school online, which wasn't good for me. I liked being in person, but it is what it is. It sucked tbh, and I hated it, really ruined my mental health.

Being on the softball team I had the chance to go down to Florida to play. Even through college, I got to fly on a plane for the first time.

I have made a couple of friends since I've graduated from college and that was through work. I guess my mom was right, you'll find your true friends later in life, you don't always have true friends coming out of high school, you might find some through collehe, but you'll realky find one or a few through the workforce.

Even the job market sucks these days after graduating college, couldn't even find a job within my field. Now 2 years after graduating, I'm married and have a baby. Job market is still not great now.

That's how my college experience went, I know it's kind of all over the place, but hopefully yall can have a good experience and make memories in college and work hard towards what you want ❤️
