A love letter to the gym 💌

A love letter to the gym:

Fitness looks different for everyone. For me, the gym has been a safe place. A safe place to allow my emotions to process through my body. A safe place to prove to myself that I am stronger than what I thought. A safe place to heal and grow from insecurities.

Anything in this life is what you make of it. Some people HATE the gym. And that is okay. For me, the gym is my therapy. It is my time to zone out and put 100% effort into building my relationship with myself.

We can all agree that we don't like hypocrites. And one of my biggest pet peeves is when people don't follow through with their word. It creates much distrust. So who am I to tell myself I am going to the gym and not follow through with MY OWN WORD?

That is why the gym transcends aesthetics for me and always will. Proving to myself that I will show up for myself has allowed me to trust myself and has done amazing things for my confidence.
