Pick your poison~ Howl O Scream, Halloween Haunt, or Frightmare?

Howl O Scream at Busch Gardens Williamsburg has shows, houses, and zones set in the European themed park. This is great if you fancy a more theatrical focused event!

Halloween Haunt at Kings Dominion is more houses and zones oriented, though they have a show and several sideshows. This is a great option if you're looking for a more scares oriented haunt!

Frightmare: An Experience in Terror! in Chesapeake is the absolute top level of haunts! Opposite of the first two, it's "just" one haunted house. BUT the attraction is a very ~immersive~ and *hands on* experience. As in they might hold you captive in a small space, duct tape you to another person, and grab you. So just be forewarned!

👻 GHOST TOURS 👻

You can't talk about Virginia ghost tours and not include Colonial Williamsburg Colonial Ghosts tour. And, being that the most historic area in America naturally has spurred quite a few hauntings, there are half a dozen hotspots covered in this tour.

Virginia Beach also has more going on at the Oceanfront than sunny beaches and seafood. The Ghosts of the Coast tour covers a few haunted sites along the Boardwalk that have experienced paranormal activity after a long, storied history that includes a maritime tragedy or two.

Haunted Hunt Club Farm in Virginia Beach is a medley of hayrides, corn mazes, and houses alongside their regular fall market and pumpkin patch.

Family Frights at Jamestown Settlement is a lighthearted Halloween event with themed sets, atmospheric characters, live entertainment, trick or treating, crafts and games, plus more.
