can we normalize messy, bright, and “unaesthetic”

yall can we normalize messy, bright, and “unaesthetic” easters?

I am seeing so many different posts about beige, aesthetic, and pretty easter’s, but mine have always been quite the opposite. I believe that these breaks from school and work need to be something that is about family. It’s not about what you get in a basket or how much money you receive, but the colorful eggs, messy cakes, and imperfect things.

This Easter I made a bunny cake for fun, and as you can see it is messy and looks like a five year old made it, but the memories attached to it are much more special than buying one from a bakery. the “is salted butter okay for cakes?” and “am I supposed to double the recipe?” questions are much more memorable.
