Living Room Transformation ✨

It’s been almost a year since my husband and I bought our house and after taking this recent picture of our living room with our pup, I was reminded of what it looked like when we toured the house and we are SO pleased with how we transformed this space (swipe to see what it looked like before)!

The home originally had clunky furniture that extended into the dining area with dark brown as being the main color theme. The brown blinds made it even darker in the room despite adequate sunshine coming through the windows.

Our goal was to create a light and airy space and we called it “West Elm on a budget” 😂 we were inspired by their designs in store so we took the time to build the space with mostly affordable pieces that matched our vision!
