things I won’t make my kids do

let’s talk about the things I will never make my kid do.

1) finish all their food. I will never force my kid to eat when they say they’re full or don’t like something.

2) be around people they aren’t comfortable with just because they’re family.

3) have sleepovers. the only sleepovers my son will have is with family/cousins.

4) give hugs if he doesn’t want to

5) suppress emotions. If he needs to cry, I will let him do that. I will always teach him it’s good to express emotions, as long as it’s in a healthy way.
