sleep training - the Ferber method

This is one method of sleep training I was willing to try because I will not do the cry it out method.

The Ferber method is helping babies learn to self soothe without adult intervention. There’s a couple different ways to go about this but this is what we do.

on the first day when baby wakes up wait 2 minutes. then the next day wait 4. then the next day wait 5 minutes. and so on. Eventually baby will learn how to self soothe at least a little better, without adult intervention. The Ferber method does say not to pick up so keep that in mind when going in to help soothe them.
