being a stay at home mom is mentally exhausting. I’ve been doing it for 4.5 years and here’s what I do that helps a ton with my mental health.

1) spend a lot of time outside. The vitamin d is so needed. we go for walks, to the park, picnics. we will even go outside during the winter months if it’s nice enough out to play in the snow or just sit and enjoy the fresh air.

2) get ready every day!! trust me you’ll feel so much better and more motivated by getting ready!

3) drive somewhere (we usually do once a day!) we will usually go grab a coffee or donut, go to the store just to walk around, etc. getting out of the house is the biggest way to stay sane while being a stay at home mom!
