ONE rule that will make your house less chaotic

I feel like my whole day is spent cleaning up toys. And I often caught myself repeating myself over and over to clean up toys after I saw that the house was a mess.

When the house is a mess, so is your mind!

So ONE rule we started implementing in our house is that we only can have one toy out at a time. The only exception is if he wants to use things to play with each other. For example we let him have out his magnatiles and character figures because he likes to create a house for them and play with them that way.

My son is 4 and he definitely understands this concept now but I know if you have a 1 or 2 year old they will not understand one toy out at a time. But 4 maybe 3 year olds and above can understand and follow this!

We now have way less chaotic house because there isn’t toys strewn about all over the place every day
