1. Up your water intake 🩵
Adding sliced fruits, vegetables and herbs to your water is a great way to give it a bit of flavor without consuming extra sugar or sugar substitutes.
2. Healthy & Nutritional meals🍑
I do t track my calories and believe that calorie counting is a form of dieting and often causes anxiety, guilt, and shame if you are not meeting your daily goals. PLEASE, Be kind to yourself!
What I like to do instead is following 80/20 rule, which means eating healthy meals 80% of the time, and have more freedom with the other 20%.
3. Love your cardio🏃♀️
I am personally not a fan of running and that’s why I replace it with different cardio workouts. There’s plenty of other good cardio exercises that can actually be fun! 🤩 Hiking, hot yoga/pilates, swimming and etc.
4. Get Enough Sleep 💤
I can’t stress this enough! Sleep is crucial to maintaining your mental health and your physique. You should get at least 7 hours of sleep if you want your muscles to grow properly and quickly.
5. Include weight training in your workout routine 💪
You don't need to spend hours a day lifting weights to benefit from strength training. You can see significant improvement in your strength with just two or three 30- or 40-minute strength training sessions a week. YouTube is your friend if you’re new to the gym, there’s plenty of great videos that will help you to start your fitness journey. 🤍
