has anyone else had this happen when you lost your virginity?

i feel that this isn’t spoken about enough and is one of the scariest things to experience. i have never once heard someone talk about this happening to people. i had no idea until it happened and my period was late. i was so scared that i messed up. one of the scariest moments in my life honestly. people need to speak about the little things more often.
