First things first, a stay-cation and playing tourist in your own town is so much fun!

We traveled not so far from Boston to go on our Perfect Getaway!

1. HIKE A MOUNTAIN!

We hiked Mount Major in NH and it honestly wasn’t so bad. If you look at the pathways, we went the medium path (yellow path) first which was not as intense or steep and went the shortest path (blue path) to head down the mountain. #mountmajor

We enjoyed our company, indulged in some plants🍃, and created our own activities on the way up!

👍Pros: YELLOW was an easy hiking path compared to the Blue, and we got some alone time on the yellow

🤔Cons: the short blue path was SO BUSY and so wet/slippery

2. LOCAL WINERY TRIP

We checked out the local winery within distance of the Mount Major and the cabin we were staying, to enjoy some amazing local (and cheap) wine! We did the 6 samples for 12$ and it was AMAZING. Vibes were soft and sweet, and brought a bottle to the cabin! #GilmantonVineyardandWinery #Wine

👍Pros: cheap good wine 10/10

🤔Cons: didn’t get to see the goats :(

3. GETAWAY CABIN

Getaway Cabins are fun , buuuut i don’t know if the actual cabin itself is entirely worth the money. They’re located very close to other camps. Each camp has its own snacks, game page, phone lock box, firewood, dishes for cooking and more! You do need to bring water though which is a must!

👍Pros: adorable cabin, GREAT morning view

🤔Cons: little pricey for what you’re getting, windows are normal and not tinted.. can see right through from the outside which was creepy and made me anxious at night #getaway #whitemountians #newhampshire #boston #lemon8diary
