Are you making these two common squat mistakes?

The top two mistakes I see with squats are: the butt wink and collapsing knees.

Butt wink occurs when your pelvis tucks under at the bottom of the squat, leading to unnecessary strain on your lower back. This can be rectified by cutting your depth and only going as low as you can while keeping your hips back. Not sure if you're doing this? Record your squats from the side and watch it back!

Collapsing knees happens when your knees cave inward on either the descending or ascending (or both) parts of your squat, which can put stress on your knee and hip joints. To rectify this, focus on pressing your knees out as you lower and raise - they should be in line with your toes.
