The Cornell Method

There are 3 sections. The notes section, the Q section, and the summary section.

Notes section

- The place where you write down facts you know or read from a textbook.

- Where you can write down what the teacher has written on the board, or what the teacher says.

- Anything else you find important for the lesson.

Q section

- The place where you can write questions about notes you have taken

- This can taken during or after class. It’s best to write the question down so you don’t forget it.

Summary section

- This is where you summarize what you have learned.

- Only write a few sentences. Too many words can mean you don’t understand the topic.

- Remember to look back at the summaries before class, so you can review the lesson.
