My thoughts on Barbie

I saw Barbie last night! And I loved it! I know people thought it was ok especially because ken doesn’t end up with Barbie. But I think the meaning of the movie is so far outside of a love story. It’s about the reality that is being a woman and what that means in every stage. It perfectly encapsulated how I felt as a child and now as an adult. Being a woman in the “real world” is hard and exhausting and this movie did such an amazing job at showcasing that. It made me realize I don’t hate being a woman but that I am just uncomfortable at how society portrays women.

For me it’s a 10/10 and I can’t wait to be a Barbie for Halloween!
