1. Not pushing yourself hard enough. You may be underestimating yourself and lifting weight that’s way too easy. Don’t be afraid to fail and start increasing your weight!

2. Only sticking to 3 sets of 10 reps. This goes hand in hand with not pushing yourself hard enough. If you’re easily doing 10 reps for every set, it’s time to add more weight. Try going until failure or even just sticking to 6-8 heavy reps!

3. Overtraining. It’s as simple as that. Many people avoid their rest days thinking that it will set them back when in reality, your body needs rest and recovery. More does not always mean better!
