Lastly, the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area Siuslaw National Forest showcases the lush, rolling dunes of the Pacific Northwest. Nestled along the coastline, these dunes offer a unique blend of sandy wilderness and coastal beauty. You do have to walk a bit to reach the part in which the ocean and dunes meet it other, I didn’t have enough time so I could make it but if you visit is a must!

Even though these sand dunes are drop-dead gorgeous, not many people know about them. Getting more people to explore and soak in these natural wonders will totally open their eyes to how diverse America's landscapes can be.
