🌈 Photo spots in Oahu

Visiting Hawaii can be a dream for many, these beautiful islands have some of the most beautiful landscapes and beaches in the world and as you might know is one of the top honey moon destinations.

If you find yourself visiting the island of Oahu here are some of my favorite photo spots you can’t miss:

🌈Ka’a’awa beach park: This particular beach is popular for these beautiful big mountains in the background, it makes the perfect picture place and the great thing about the beach park is that is mainly used by local fishermen and picnickers. Fishermen come here to catch he'e (octopus). In the Hawaiian language, Ka'a'awa means "the yellow wrasse fish," a reef fish that was once abundant on the reefs in this area. Is great for snorkeling and if you want to get a closer feel of Hawaiian culture this is the place to be. If you walk across the street you will find this charming food truck that sells shave ice and fresh fruits 🍉 it’s also very cute for pictures!

🌴 Hoomaluhia botanical garden: I’m sure you have seen this place before when searching for O’ahu pictures, very popular place with stunning Mountain Views. The park opens at 9am officially (for cars) but all the locals go there to walk at around 7am. The side of the fence has a walking entrance and it is beautiful for a morning walk. Don’t be afraid to go in, everyone does. The famous photo near the entrance is possible at this time of the day when no cars are around, so go at 7am if you want it!

✨Lanikai Pillbox hike: is one of the most picturesque and pleasant Oahu hiking trails. This intermediate hike rises just above beautiful Lanikai Beach, rewarding hikers with some of the best vistas of Oahu’s windward side.
