•If you are big into thrifting you probably already know what the bins are, but if you don’t, I’m here to tell you everything you need to know!

•The Goodwill Bins/ Outlets are clearance centers where they fill big bins full of clothing for super cheap! Every outlet does things a little differently and prices may vary but I’m going to tell you how mine works!

•The location I go to opens at 7:30am but I arrive around 7am to get in line. Cars wrap around the building until the gate opens. Once the gate open you are given a ticket and then may enter the parking lot to park. You then make your way over to the entrance and everyone usually circles around. At 7:30 they start calling ticket numbers. Your entrance is based on a raffle, so once they call your number you are aloud to go in. Each person gets their own bin to start digging through. Once the last person is inside you can start moving around to other bins.

•So what’s in the bins? Like I said before, every location is different, but the ones I go to are strictly clothes. The bins are not organized by size or anything. So you can find men’s clothing, women’s clothing, and kids clothing of all sizes in one bin. People spend at least a couple of hours going from bin to bin. When you find something you like you can add it to your cart. Even if I find something I am not sure about I grab it anyways and then I will go through everything at the end.

•Prices also vary depending on the location, but usually it is either per piece of per pound. If it is per piece, each item is usually a couple of dollars. And when it’s per pound I can get a whole bag of clothes (trash bag sized) for about $20! This is my absolute favorite things to do when I am looking for new pieces to add to my wardrobe! You can find the coolest things for a fraction of the price! If you’ve never been, I would highly recommend trying it out!
