Quitting my Full-Time Job to Open a Content Studio

So much has happened since I graduated earlier this year. I started a new full-time role as a creative executive for a clothing brand, but after some time, I decided to leave and open my own content studio.

The past few months have been quite a rollercoaster. I chose to move on because I wanted to build something of my own. As many of you know from my previous post, I’m passionate about creating new side projects and exploring new ventures. A full-time job didn’t offer the flexibility I needed to grow and experiment as a creative.

So, why a content studio? For me, having my own physical space means I can design my own sets and schedule shoots on my terms, collaborate with other creators, and have a dedicated environment where I can bring my ideas to life. It was a big investment and a leap of faith, but I’m excited about this journey.

My studio, Haus of Soma, is a cozy 400-square-foot, naturally lit space equipped for both creatives and content creators. I’m looking forward to sharing more about the studio’s identity and my solo journey soon. Stay tuned!
