Why I Believe in Love at First Sight 💓

Truth be told, I didn’t actually believe this was a real thing until it happened to me. I met my boyfriend on Bumble in June and within a week, we went on our first date and have been inseparable ever since.

It’s so crazy how conflicting the human body can be because I almost swiped left on him 😅 but my heart gave this weird pulse and I swiped right. He was such a dry texter the week leading up to our first date, but when we met in person it was AMAZING 🫶🏽

We got along so well, we laughed, we cried, we told each other secrets, we had fun, and it was so beautiful. He made me feel so comfortable and safe. We really went on one date and have been inseparable ever since. Midway through the date, I knew he was the one. He was so amazing and after his dry texts *lol* I had never actually thought things would work out so well.

He’s everything I’ve ever dreamed of, prayed for, waited 22 years of my life for, and I would wait another 22 if it meant finding him again.

I feel like when you know, you just know, and I can confidently say that if it’s not him, it’s not anyone. We actually dropped the L-word after 2 weeks and have never looked back 💘 It hasn’t always been the easiest journey being an interracial couple, but it’s always been us against the world 🌎 and it’s true that love conquers all.
