BEST PLACES to 👀 MT FUJI🗻

hello #lemon8 !

after exploring the outskirts of mt fuji, it was time to see the majestic mt fuji! even though we were there for 4d3n, we only managed to see it on our first and last day as it was cloudy☁️ and raining🌧️ the other 2 days 😭 so it really is true when they say mt fuji is hidden by clouds 40% of the year.

after visiting all the famous viewpoints, here are the places i would recommend that you go to get the best view of mt fuji!

🌸 oishi park facing lake kawaguchi

mt fuji in the background with lake kawaguchi in the foreground is just PERFECTION! the park is filled with so many pretty flowers and presents the perfect backdrop for a photo with mt fuji. there is even a selfie stand for u to take photos by urself 🤣 the shop at the park sells ice cream in many different flavours (and many other food) so you could get one and enjoy the views of mt fuji! 😋

🛍️ gotemba premium outlets

what can be better than seeing mt fuji and shopping at the same time? the view from the outlet is CRAZY! on clear days, mt fuji seems to be so UP CLOSE and there isnt any other buildings in view! not only that, gotemba premium outlets rly has a lot of stores and good deals so you could spend almost a day there.

🗻 arakurayama sengen park

this is the famous spot of mt fuji with the pagoda! on the day when i went up, it was super cloudy so i couldnt see mt fuji at all but i think on clear days it would be really pretty! however, the hike up is pretty steep and long and there were suuuuuper lot of flies which was meh but it feels good to just have a view of the whole city!

📍random stops along the road

we were driving towards our airbnb when we suddenly spotted mt fuji and decided to stop at a random "carpark" and get down to snap some shots. there are many of such spots along lake kawaguchi and they are quiet so you have the whole view to yourself, unlike at oishi park. so be on the lookout if you are driving!

famous places that i wouldnt really recommend:

🚠 mt fuji panoramic ropeway

it costs ¥900 for an adult round trip ticket and honestly not worth... there were so many people up the mountain which means you cant really get a good shot without someone photobombing. if mt fuji isnt in view, there honestly isnt much to do up there so why bother paying ¥900 🫠

🏪 that lawson

im referring to the lawson near kawaguchiko station that everyone goes to take photo with mt fuji at the back. wouldnt recommend you coming as there is just TOO MANY people, and your photographer would have to stand across the street, fight with the tens of people and CARS on the road to get a clear good shot so nah, not worth. i also saw many people just dashing across the road which was so unsafe 👀
