5cbm Taobao + Taobao Fails!😭

Part one of my shipment is actually broken down into 2 shipments! First we shipped was 1.7cbm shipment here if you haven’t seen the post!

It also consisted of my kitchen waterfall sink which is my first failed purchase😭 don’t follow my footsteps! To be fair, there are many good reviews for this seller, just not sure why I was not able to successfully install it.

💭 Loved the different functions that the sink has and it came in piano keys instead of knob. However it was useless as I still have to turn the knob off to kill the water supply even though the piano keys are off.

💭 MBR vanity set needed to be customised as the depth at the door was only 30cm. Measured each and every corner of the area but the counter top had a slight gap😭 seller supposedly cut out strips of counter top for us to use as skirting to cover the gap but there were still gaps so we decided to forego the skirting.

Common toilet vanity set was off the shelf 80cm model. We chose normal mirror cabinet instead of see through or smart mirror cabinet to simplify things since we would hardly use it. Love the curved edges and wide sink!! Can definitely wash my towels in this sink🤣 Giving it a 4 star because of personal error as we wanted to flush against wall and shower screen but turns out we had gaps on all sides.

2) 2m TV console

💭 Curved edges! LED at the bottom! Cut out at the back for wires! We customised the middle section to a pull down door instead of its drawers so that we can put items like mesh router etc. But the downside is that the seller did not think it through and we are unable to open the middle section without having to open the side drawers first😭

3) Kitchen corner cabinet mechanism

💭 Love the convenience with this. But would consider this a fail as well😭 If you look closer we had to cut out portions of the cabinet that the hinge is sitting on. Technically the mechanism fits just nice without having to cut, but it will scratch the back of the laminate and would be unable to pull out the drawers. With this, we also do have some wasted space at the innermost of this area but it is now much easier to reach for the items inside.

💡 Recommended to have the mechanism purchased first so that your ID can build carpentry around it instead!

4) 1.4m study table

💭 Adjustable electronic table. All perfect! Only downside is that the plug is not the SG version and you would need to use a travel adapter for this.

5) 1.6m dining table

💭 Sintered stone countertop and curved edges❤️ something different from popular designs. Delivered with no cracks!

6) Toy storage

💭 Boxes are slanted at an angle and covers are transparent so that children can see what is inside. Plastic and rounded corners so am not afraid if children bump into it or if the rack falls down.
