Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion is also known as the Blue Mansion because of its dazzling indigo-coloured facade in Georgetown.

This mansion was built by the merchant Cheong Fatt Tze at the end of the 19th century, the mansion has 38 rooms, 5 granite-paved courtyards, 7 staircases and 220 vernacular timber lourve windows.

Visit this mansion to discover the architectural intricacy of Cheong Fatt Tze beloved Mansion and the effort that went into the restoration of the Blue Mansion into its iconic status today. This mansion was also used as a shooting site for the Crazy Rich Asians movie.

I joined the daily tour (which was RM25 for a 45 minutes tour), listened to the history of this place and marvelled at the beautiful architecture.

Other than that, there is also a restaurant, bar, cafe at the site. You can also opt to stay a night at this beautiful mansion 💕
