Taktau Nak Pilih Course Apa di Uni?😮‍💨

Siapa kat sini yg dari dulu sampai skrg taktau apa yg dia minat, taktau apa yg dia nk jadi bila besar? Sejujurnya, I dulu zaman sekolah pun I taktau nak jadi apa. Tapi, zaman sekolah menengah, I ambik peluang utk buat apa yg I minat. Dari sains tulen, I tukar ambik sains teknikal sbb I nak lari dari belajar Bio (sbb tak minat) and nak belajar lukisan teknikal (mcm arkitek, engineering tu). Bila dh habis SPM, I realized yg I minat benda tu sekadar minat nk mencuba, but not to bring it into a career (being an architect/engineer is tough ok). I realized yg bukanlah penyabar bila buat lukisan tu semua, so I thought that “This is not for me”.

Bila nak daftar UPU, I asked myself “What I want to be?”. I taktau beb. I ada beberapa interests (and all of them sangatlah tak berkait with eo ok > <). Same case like during high school, I mcm lebih kpd ‘nak explore, nak cuba sesuatu baru, nak cari minat’. But it seems too late for that sbb after uni dh nk kena cari kerja, tkde masa nk trial and error. So, time tu I decided to pick a course yg boleh jamin kerjaya I. That’s when I decided to take HR (as per my mom’s suggestion).

Jadi kat sini, apa yg I cuba nak sampaikan is, u need to know what u want in the future. Rather than ‘what u wanna be’ (if u don’t know wht u want to be like me lol), think abt “Aku nak buat apa ye lepas graduate?”. The answer could be as simple as “Aku nak ada fixed income, nak ada duit utk berbelanja”. Yup, as simple as that. So, if me, I nak ada fixed income, I need to work lah even if I don’t like it (kalau boleh nk golek atas katil tgk kdrama je, tp tkde kerja mcm tu kan?). So, that’s why I chose a course that has a variety of options to start a career with.

So korg yg tgh fikir nak pilih course apa di uni, kalau u guys ada minat yg betul2 mendalam pada sesuatu course tu, to the extent u can pursue it in ur career, go on with that course. Utk yg taktau apa yg dia minat, try asking urself “Nak buat apa lepas graduate?”.
