Decadent Creamy Crack Chicken Penne Delight

Ingredients:

1 lb penne pasta

2 cups shredded cooked chicken

1 packet ranch seasoning mix

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

3/4 cup bacon, cooked and chopped

1/2 cup chicken broth

1/2 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Directions:

Cook the pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the onion and garlic: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook for 3-4 minutes until translucent. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Make the creamy sauce: Add the softened cream cheese to the skillet and stir until melted and creamy. Then, add the chicken broth, heavy cream, ranch seasoning mix, and salt and pepper. Stir until well combined and smooth.

Combine ingredients: Add the shredded chicken, cooked bacon, and cooked penne pasta to the skillet. Stir until everything is well coated with the creamy sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.

Add cheese: Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and well combined.

Garnish and serve: Serve immediately, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
