Is Fico worth the 2 months wait? 🍝

Okay this post was long overdue but let’s just get straight into it

Is Fico worth the hype?🙂‍↕️🙂‍↔️

TDLR: Worth a try but imo I wouldn’t wait 2-months just to dine here again💥

One of the things that i’ve always wanted to do was to treat my boyfriend’s family to a “nice meal” because they always feed me so well 😙😙my bf’s mom actually wanted Fico to be her birthday dinner but it was fully reserved the moment reservations opened up 2 months prior (crazy how fast the weekend slots got snatched up😟) so I knew we needed to go and try it out + in addition to me being a raging foodie I needed to know what was the hype about!!

🐠First look at Fico from the outside it’s a pretty looking place that was well-decorated with a gorgeous seaview

there are two main sitting areas: indoors which is air-conditioned and outdoors which is pet-friendly since we bought a dog we booked the alfresco pet-friendly area which wasn’t hot since we went around 6pm but do bring insect-repellent (just in case!)

Food-wise we ordered 3 starters, 5 mains and 4 plates of desserts total bill was $328.53 for 5 pax 💰

Overall the quality of ingredients was definitely premium 🍅 the food tasted fresh and unique especially the tomato salad it was exquisite (and I don’t even like tomatoes….) best dish that I’d returned for would be the focaccia if there’s one thing that you MUST order if you decide to visit it would be this!!! Crunchy. Flavourful and delicious what more could you ask for? The rest of the dishes was quite solid as well, definitely not just the typical Italian food that you’ll get elsewhere 😋
