No Frills Pottery Painting

Hi Zesties!

I chanced upon a clay pottery painting deal recently and decided to signed up for a session of pottery painting with my girlfriend!

It was the best decision ever.

The deal’s ongoing so do grab your partners/dates or BFF to paint!

The session lasted for 1.5h and we had to purchase our pottery separately. Both of us chose plates and I reckon that’s the best and easiest to paint if you’re a newbie like us!

Activity Review

✨Activity/Experience:

Having tried pottery wheel throwing before, I remember it being extremely tiring and challenging so hearing about this deal in which you can paint the pottery without the wheeling part was a bonus! My friend and I aren’t professionals but we went in with an open mind and were spontaneous about choosing whatever we wanted to paint! All it takes is some courage and willingness to try. Time flew as we were painting and we were mighty pleased with how our plates turned out!

💭Thoughts:

Do prepare for the activity by saving a few pictures for inspiration in your phone. I would advise a design that doesn’t involve too many colours as 1.5h is all you’ve got. I spent quite some time mixing colours due to my ambitious design. 😝 Of course, there’s the option to return and continue painting another day (not sure if there’s additional cost though) but honestly it’s just best to get it completed on the day itself so that you can get it fired and glazed right after!

🤔Would go again?

Yes! I will definitely return and perhaps choose another pottery to paint.
