10 FUN PLACES to take your little one!

I can easily make a part 2, but here are 10 ideas to do with your toddler to preschool age kid that they’ll love!

1. The Zoo! Probably my daughter’s favorite place EVER and if you get a membership, it’s a great and affordable option to go to weekly

2. Nature Preserves are great for hiking, seeing wildlife and exploring the visitor centers. They are usually free and a great way to ensure a worn out toddler and a good long nap!

3. Play Studios! I found one in my area that is specifically for kiddos 5 and under and it’s a great way to meet new friends for you and your kids

4. Big indoor play places…if you look on their websites, a lot will have toddler days or times where you can get discounts or know when the most younger kids will be there

5. The beach! If you have one near you, or have the ability to travel to one, it’s free and a great experience for your little to learn, explore, play in the sand and splash in the water

6. Gymnastics! Another favorite. Excellent way to improve your kiddos discipline, flexibility, strength and truly wear them out! I was in a mommy and me class with my toddler this summer and we both had a blast

7. The aquarium. She loved seeing all of the fish, petting the sting rays, storytime with a mermaid, following around the tortoise, climbing the rock wall, playing in the water zone, and the list goes on!

8. The library is another fabulous free resource! They offer so many events and age specific story and dance/music classes throughout the week. Be sure to see what your local branch offers…you’d be surprised!

9. The pool! Whether it’s a pool of your own, a community pool or swim lessons - getting your little one comfortable with water and learning basic swim skills is so important and can save their life. My daughter has so much fun swimming and has improved and learned a ton since we started mommy and me classes this summer

10. The park! I ran out of room on my slides, but parks are definitely in the top 10 too. Google the highest rated in your area and your kiddo will love it 🥰
