new york vintage — what goes around comes around

trends truly come and go, and then come back again. this cycle is similar to that of high-end vintage shopping. hence the name, What Goes Around Comes Around. if you’re prepared (mentally and financially) to drop a pretty penny on the brands and trends that keep creeping their way back into style, this store is right up your alley. not only is the store aesthetically styled and merchandised (and the staff is so welcoming!), their inventory includes everything a Carrie Bradshaw wannabe is looking for…and more. a Chanel tweed suit (aka every fashion girl’s dream)? they’ve got it – in pink, purple and yellow. Levi’s that hug your bum perfectly (and with a Big E!)? they have multiple washes, sizes and styles. and of course, an iconic Chanel bodysuit and Louis Vuitton trunk for all your decorating needs.

What Goes Around Comes Around has an in-house buying team who travels the world searching through estate sales and private collections of the rich and famous. the treasures are then hand-carried back to the U.S., steamed, and hung on a black wooden hanger in their stores (one in Beverly Hills, two in New York) so someone can finally find that one vintage piece their closet has been craving.
